Chicken Fat Rendering

Sharing chicken fat i rendered this morning. I followed the method in http://www.wikihow.com/Render-Chicken-Fat but using my measurement as followed:
1 cup free-range chicken skin
1/3 cup filtered water
(1) Roughly heat up a cooking pan. Add in chicken fat and some water enough to submerse chicken fat partially.
(2) Put on a lid and let it steam under medium heat for 10-15 minutes, to release the oil.
(3) Once done, continue to stir until the it is liquefied and chicken fats turn brown or crispy. I used 160C to render.
(4) Use a sieve to remove the chicken chunks and collect the oil.
I collected just a 1/3 cup oil from the rendering. I guess i wont be doing this anytime soon unless i have a maid! My pantry smells so 'chicken-ish'.
I was about to find out what could i do with the crispy chicken chunks before my husband actually finished them all. I wonder if it is good to just eat all on its own like that. :)
