Recipe (using Philips soy milk maker):
2/3 cup organic rolled oat
1/8 cup mixture of organic white and black sesame
4.5 cup filtered water
Toppings -
1 organic green apple (cubed)
1 golden kiwi (sliced)
2 medjool dates (deseeded and chopped)
handful of organic raisins
1 tsp unsalted butter (melted)
(1) Soak oats and sesame overnight. Rinse a severtal times over a sieve before use.
(2) Set to soymilk mode and let it cook for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can use a glass blender to blend and cook on stove for 20 minutes.
(3) Scope the milk into a bowl. Let it cool a little before serve together with fruits.
Note: This is my first time buying organic green apple, as i rarely see these. Apple is listed top under dirty dozen list and it is always in the list, thus it would be good to be able to get organic. Using organic apple too, we can safely consume with the skin, i however roughly brush off the skin before cube it as it is nicer to eat without too much skin with milk. This organic green apple is indeed very fresh and nice, a little sourish but not as sour as non-organic that i have tried. A little raisins and dates help to sweeten the milk naturally, this milk has a mixture of sweet and sour, sesame-ish milk taste.
