Hazelnut hemp milk


















Recipe (using Philips soy milk maker):
1/2 cup hazelnut
1/8 cup hemp seed
4 cup water
Topping:
1/2 cup rolled oat (soaked overnight)
1 green fragrant pear (cubed)
(1) Presoaked nuts and seeds for 24 hours, change water necessarily in between. Rinse a few times before used.
(2) Roughly crush nuts and seeds using pestle and mortar.
(3) Transfer into milk maker, add in water and let it cook for 25 minutes. You may use a glass blender and cook on stove alternatively.
(4) Once done, filter over a sieve and let it cool slightly before serve with oat and pear.


Update - Full version of hemp milk with medjool date blend.






















Recipe (using Philips soy milk maker):
2/3 cup hemp seed (crushed using pestle and mortar, soaked overnight)
4 cup water
2 medjool dates (pitted)

(1) Put all ingredients into milk maker except medjool dates, add in water and set to 5 grains mode and let it cook till done.

(2) Once done, filter the pulp using a coffee filter. Collect the milk and pour back into cleanly washed milk maker once again. Add in medjool date, set to fruits and vegetables mode and let it blend for 5 minutes or till the dates are well blended.

(3) Pour the creamy milk into serving bowl or cup and serve accordingly. (Foam on top could be removed, according to preference)
