Homemade 4 grains sesame milk
Recipe (using Philips soy milk maker):
4.5 cup water
1/5 cup organic soya bean
1/5 cup organic millet
1/5 cup wheat germ
1/5 cup organic rolled oats
1/5 cup black sesame (replacing the original recipe calls for black glutinous rice)
Topping:
1/2 organic apple (chopped)
(1) Soaked all grains and oats for at least 6 hours.
(2) Rinsed and drained all grains and oats over a sieve before use.
(3) Put to 5 grains milk mode and let it cooks for 25 minutes. Once done, serve with some chopped organic apples.
Alternative way: Using a glass blender, blend all ingredients till smooth and bring to boil for 25 minutes or till soft and dissolved.
Note: You can filter the milk over a nut cloth or cheesecloth for a smoother pulp free milk.
